Boy Erased (2018):
 Based on Garrard Conley’s memoir, this biographical drama tells the story of Jared, the son of a Baptist pastor in a small American town. Jared is outed to his parents at age 19 and is quickly pressured into attending a gay conversion therapy program. The film explores the conflict between his faith and his identity, as well as the harmful impacts of conversion therapy.
