Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

Christmas arrives wrapped in familiar sounds and memories. Candlelight against the dark, old songs we know by heart, stories told and retold until they feel woven into us. There is comfort in that nostalgia, a reminder that hope has been carried through hard seasons before and has not been extinguished.

But Christmas is also a deeply disruptive story. It begins with displacement, political violence, and an occupied people longing for liberation. God does not enter the world through the halls of power, but among the marginalized and the unwanted. This is a season that insists love takes sides, that justice matters, and that the lives pushed to the edges are where divine presence is most clearly revealed.

Holding these together matters. The warmth we cherish is not an escape from the world as it is, but fuel for the work of making it more just. The tenderness of this season reminds us what we are fighting for. The radical promise of it reminds us why we cannot look away.

As you move through Christmas, may you find comfort without erasure, joy without apology, and hope that refuses to shrink. May you know yourself as beloved just as you are, worthy of safety, dignity, and delight, and as an essential part of a much larger story of liberation still unfolding.

Thank you for walking with The Rainbow Well. We are grateful for you and for the courage, care, and faith you bring into the world.
