“The work of CenterPeace is to provide a place at the table for LGBTQ people and to open conversations about faith and sexuality with ministry leaders, parents, and other community members. In particular, CenterPeace strives to create affirming spiritual community for LGBTQ people. Established in 2006 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, CenterPeace grew out of Founder and Executive Director Sally Gary’s own journey growing up in a Christian family and coming to realize she is gay.
